About Minty's Place

A family-friendly restaurant in historic Cambridge, Minty's Place is located where Hyser's used to be — 824 Locust Street. The building was purchased, renovated, and renamed in honor of Araminta "Minty" Ross, later known as Harriet Tubman, who was born in Dorchester County. (Araminta did not take the name "Harriet" until she married John Tubman.) If you wish to learn more about Minty's history, visit HarrietTubman.com.
